Kuwait Airways Baggage Allowance

Checked Baggage
The following entails on flights for one passenger:
- Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices are banned on all commercial and cargo flights.
- Baggage exceeding the maximum dimensions will be shipped as cargo.
- Baggage exceeding the standard dimensions or Weight Allowance will be subject to excess baggage charges.
- Maximum weight of each piece should not exceed 32 kgs.
- Baggage allowances are subjected to variation according to the route and cabin class. Please check the exact baggage regulations written on your ticket.
- Same rules for the baggage allowance apply to sports equipment and musical instruments.

Hand Baggage
Check out the following guidelines for hand baggage allowance:
- The baggage should not exceed the maximum size to fit the overhead locker.
- In addition to your main hand baggage, you can carry one ladies handbag, one briefcase, one coat, cape or blanket, one umbrella, or one duty-free item bought on the day of the flight.
- Passengers traveling to the UK & USA would need to keep their electronic devices turned on for security checks.

- Baggage allowances are subjected to variation according to the route and cabin class. Please check the exact baggage regulations written on your ticket.
- Excess Baggage allowance not allowed for Infants.
- Pre-paid Excess Baggage can be purchased online or at Kuwait Airways Office or by calling the Call center (171) with a 15% discount over the standard Excess Baggage fees.
- Advanced “Pre-paid Excess Baggage” is not available for purchase via Web Check-In.
- Pre-paid Excess Baggage will be available for online purchase until 24 hours before the scheduled flight.
- The pre-paid excess baggage should not exceed 23 KG for economy class and 32 KG for First, Royal, and Business classes per piece.
- Pre-paid Excess Baggage service cannot be refunded.
- Pre-paid Excess Baggage purchased cannot be transmitted to another traveler.
- Special baggage such as sports equipment/musical instruments, overweight, oversize bags, and pets are not allowed to be purchased as Pre-paid Excess Baggage.

Prohibited Items on a Kuwait Airways Flight
For safety purposes, Kuwait Airways, does not allow specific items to be carried.
- Firearms of all types, including revolvers, pistols, rifles, shotguns and Toy guns.
- Devices for shocking (teasers) and stun batons.
- Animal stunners and animal killers.
- Chemicals, gases and sprays.
- Ice axes, ice picks, axes, hatchets and cleavers.
- Swords, Razor blades, Knives and Scissors with blades of more than 6 cm.
- Drills, nail guns, bolt guns and portable power drills.
- Baseball and softball bats
- Martial arts equipment.
- Dynamite, gunpowder, imitation explosive devices and plastic explosives.
- Corrosive materials, such as mercury in thermometers, acids, alkalis, and wet cell batteries
- Radioactive materials
- Flammable liquids, Flammable solids and Flammable gasses.
Electronic cigarettes, personal vaporizers, or electronic nicotine devices that have batteries are strictly forbidden in checked-in baggage. It can be carried in carry-on baggage only and is not allowed to be used inside the cabin.
Two perfumes are banned on all flights to and from London Heathrow for safety measurements (Prohibited Perfumes through security). Spicebomb by Viktor & Rolf and Wanted by Azzaro are prohibited perfumes.
Passengers are allowed to carry onboard a limited quantity of Liquids and gels that do not exceed the capacity of 100ML and are held in closed containers.

Delayed and Damaged Luggage
- If your luggage is delayed or mishandled, you will need to fill a report at Baggage Tracing Information.
- Kuwait airway team would help you to track your bag and arrange for delivery as soon as possible.
